FIP Ambassadors Cup 2025 in Uruguay

The 122nd edition of the FIP Ambassadors Cup, organized by the Federation of International Polo (FIP), was a resounding success in José Ignacio, Uruguay. Held at Polo Santa Cruz and supported by the AUP, this prestigious tournament featured 24 players from 8 different countries competing over three consecutive days.

Nito Uranga shared insights about the event, noting its success in wrapping up the February polo season. Despite ongoing tournaments in Punta del Este, such as those during Carnival and the upcoming Semana de Abril (Holy Week), the Ambassadors Cup stood out as a highlight.

The players and attendees enjoyed exceptional hospitality, with memorable experiences at Posada Paraíso and Polo Santa Cruz, where they were treated to excellent meals and accommodations. Special thanks were extended to Alexis Boyminú, president of the Argentinian and Uruguayan polo association, and Michael Klein, who hosted participants at his home.

The Ambassadors Cup was celebrated not only for its high level of competition but also for the camaraderie and shared moments among friends, making it a truly remarkable event.
