Aston Martin Prince of Wales’s Championship Cup Day 6

Five goals off the stick of Spencer McCarthy helped Emlor secure their first win in the Aston Martin Prince of Wales’s Championship Cup competition. Brilliantly supported by Max Charlton, Joaquin Pittaluga and Javier Guererro, Spencer’s team kept focused to win this key game on the Queen’s Ground.  However, their opponents, Tunde Karim’s Shoreline never stopped battling. They were the first to find the flags in this match, a big hit off the stick of Fran Elizalde and all was level (4-4) at half-time. Then Emlor came out fighting, giving themselves a comfortable, five goal lead (9-4) in the fourth. Elizalde closed the gap a little in the fifth and some great play from Elizalde and team-mate Guillermo Terrera ensured Shoreline were just trailing by just one goal (10-9) early into the sixth. McCarthy though was determined that this day belonged to Emlor and two great plays from the patron, Charlton and Guererro ensured the red shirts won the game 12-10.
