PGH La Palmeraie Becomes the First Finalist of the 4th Throne Cup


RABAT, Morocco – PGH La Palmeraie secured the first place in Sunday’s final of the 4th Throne Cup after defeating Marrakesh Polo Team by 8½ goals to 6 in a hard-fought semifinal played at the Royal Guard Polo Club.
The match lived up to expectations, with both teams producing an open, fast-paced contest from the opening throw-in. Marrakesh Polo Team fought until the final chukker, creating scoring opportunities and keeping the pressure on throughout the game, but PGH La Palmeraie proved more clinical in key moments to earn the victory.
With dynamic attacking play and solid teamwork, PGH La Palmeraie gradually built its advantage in what was one of the most entertaining matches of the tournament so far. Despite the final score, the game remained highly competitive, with both sides exchanging goals and momentum during several stages of the encounter.
