Monday July 6 marked the first of the last three days of the league phase of the St. Regis Cowdray Gold Cup, the most significant tournament hosted by Cowdray Park Polo Club, and one of the most important polo competitions worldwide.
Up-to-date, four teams have already qualified to quarter finals – Akasha, Black Bears, Dubai and Gaston. And although La Hechicera is still undefeated, they still didn’t earn their ticket to the next stage. In order to achieve it, they are obliged to win their last group match, otherwise they will depend on other results.
Still, things are not done yet, and the remaining teams due to play the quarters will be unveiled within the next few days. It’s worth remembering that the league stage will come to an end on Wednesday July 8, and the quarter finals will take place through Saturday July 11 and Sunday July 12.
