The quarter finals of the St. Regis Cowdray Gold Cup are set

Following the last league games and the penalty shootout, on Wednesday July 8 and Thursday July 9, respectively, the eight teams who are due to play the matchups of the quarter finals of the St. Regis Cowdray Gold Cup have been revealed.

The winners of the last qualifying phase were Ferne Park, Sujan Indian Tigers and Dubai. Their victories secured Ferne Park and Sujan Indian Tigers a spot in the quarter finals. In the meantime, and due to a triple tie within the standings, UAE, Kazak and La Dolfina Marqués de Riscal – all of them with a 4-2 record – had to go to a penalty shootout to determine the last foursome to play in the tournament’s next phase. The winners of the penalty shootout were due to play against Dubai.

Finally, La Dolfina Marques de Riscal were victorious on Thursday morning. Therefore, the matchups and schedule of the upcoming quarter finals of the tournament hosted by the prestigious Cowdray Park Polo Club, in Midhurst, West Sussex, England, are as follows:

Saturday July 11

Dubai vs. La Dolfina Marques de Riscal

Sujan Indian Tigers vs. Ferne Park

Sunday July 12

Black Bears vs. Gaston

La Hechicera vs. Akasha
