For many, Monday is a “tough day,” but not for those who spent the past weekend at the Moscow Polo Club enjoying the official start of the winter polo season. The Moscow Snow Polo Cup 2026 marked the opening of a calendar filled with games, training sessions, and open competitions, bringing together players, ponies, and fans in a festive atmosphere.
In the main match, HorseSmart claimed victory over TR Engineering with a score of 9.5–7. The standout of the day was Mikhail Rodzyanko, named Best Player of the tournament, while Sequoia, owned by Alexey Rodzyanko, was recognized as Best Playing Pony.
The second match, designed for beginners, saw Moscow Polo Club defeat Tseleevo Golf & Polo Club 3–0. Rising talent Marusya Kovalenko was awarded Best Player, and Ormiga Atomica, owned by Alexandra Rodzyanko, earned Best Playing Pony honors.
The event was accompanied by a photo report, with the first images already available in the club’s community albums on VK (vk.com/moscowpoloclub). The cover photo was captured by Tatiana Mikhina, adding a visual highlight to a weekend that celebrated the spirit of snow polo in Moscow.
