Thrilling Conclusion to the 2024 USPA Women’s Arena Open

The 2024 USPA Women’s Arena Open concluded in spectacular fashion, with the ladies leaving everything on the field in a match for the ages. It was a complete display of skill, horsemanship, and determination that left all in attendance in awe.

Wild Dog Polo Crowned Champions:
Congrats to Wild Dog Polo, who were crowned champions after defeating the reigning champions, OC Polo, with a final score of 12-10. Stephanie Colburn was named the match MVP for her exceptional play and the decisive goal in the closing seconds that sealed the win. Colburn, a 5-goaler, scored seven of her team’s 12 goals in the final, earning her the MVP honors. Additionally, her mare Seven’s was named Best Playing Pony, and Mila Slutzky was recognized for her outstanding sportsmanship.

Recap of the Match:
Wild Dog Polo’s victory came after an intense and closely contested battle. OC Polo put up a valiant effort to retain their title, but the skill and determination of Wild Dog Polo proved too much to overcome.

Shady Lady Arena Invitational Finals:
Sunday was also a great day of polo with the finals of the 2024 Shady Lady Arena Invitational. Golden Day’s Media, representing @centralcoastpolo, emerged victorious after a hard-fought match against @sermus.polo. Nicole Bailey was named Most Valuable Player, and Nicole Bankhead’s Gia received Best Playing Polo honors. Fawn Rinalduzzi was recognized for her exceptional sportsmanship.
