Copa Mundial de Arena Polo FIP en Estados Unidos 2025

Por primera vez en su historia, el Campeonato Mundial de Arena Polo de la Federación Internacional de Polo (FIP) se llevará a cabo en los Estados Unidos. Programado para el 5-12 de octubre de 2025, la Asociación de Polo de los Estados Unidos se complace en anunciar que el torneo será coorganizado por el Roseland Polo Club en Crozet, Virginia, y Virginia Polo Inc., sede del club de polo de la Universidad de Virginia en Charlottesville, Virginia.

Un Evento Prestigioso en Territorio Estadounidense

Este evento, modelado según el Campeonato Mundial de Polo FIP, presentará polo de arena internacional de primer nivel, con equipos de todo el mundo compitiendo por el título. “Roseland Polo está encantado y honrado de ser el anfitrión,” dijo Ali King, gerente del Roseland Polo Club. “Nos complace compartir el honor con Virginia Polo y creemos que entre nuestras dos instalaciones podemos mostrar lo mejor que el polo de Virginia tiene para ofrecer.”

Clasificación y Zonas

Para calificar como uno de los seis equipos seleccionados para avanzar al Campeonato Mundial de Arena Polo FIP, el camino comienza con cinco playoffs zonales. El país anfitrión (Estados Unidos) se clasifica automáticamente, mientras que los otros cinco equipos (Zonas A, B, C, D y E) competirán durante el verano y se clasificarán antes de finales de julio de 2025.

Las cinco zonas son las siguientes:

  • Zona A: América del Norte y Central
  • Zona B: América del Sur
  • Zona C: Europa
  • Zona D: Asia y Oceanía
  • Zona E: Pakistán, India e Irán

Playoffs de las Zonas:

  • Zona A: San Pancho, México (21-27 de abril de 2025)
  • Zona B: Chile (abril de 2025)
  • Zona C: Chantilly, Francia (principios de julio de 2025)
  • Zona D: Sin playoff
  • Zona E: Anfitrión Arabia Saudita (no participante) (abril de 2025)

FIP Arena World Polo Championship in the United States 2025

For the first time in its history, the Federation of International Polo (FIP) Arena World Polo Championship will take place in the United States. Scheduled for October 5-12, 2025, the United States Polo Association is pleased to announce that the tournament will be co-hosted by Roseland Polo Club in Crozet, Virginia, and Virginia Polo Inc., home of the University of Virginia polo club, in Charlottesville, Virginia.

A Prestigious Event on U.S. Soil

Modeled after the FIP World Polo Championship, the second edition of this prestigious event will showcase top-tier international arena polo, with teams from around the globe competing for the title. “Roseland Polo is thrilled and honored to be hosting,” said Roseland Polo Club Manager Ali King. “We are pleased to be sharing the honor with Virginia Polo and believe that between our two facilities we are able to show off the best Virginia polo has to offer!”

Qualification and Zones

To qualify as one of the six teams selected to advance to the FIP Arena World Polo Championship, the journey begins with five zone playoffs. The host country (United States) automatically qualifies, with the remaining five teams (Zones A, B, C, D, and E) competing during the summer and qualifying by the end of July 2025.

The five zones are as follows:

  • Zone A: North and Central America
  • Zone B: South America
  • Zone C: Europe
  • Zone D: Asia and Oceania
  • Zone E: Pakistan, India, and Iran

Zone Playoffs:

  • Zone A: San Pancho, Mexico (April 21-27, 2025)
  • Zone B: Chile (April 2025)
  • Zone C: Chantilly, France (early July 2025)
  • Zone D: No playoff
  • Zone E: Host Saudi Arabia (non-participant) (April 2025)
