Facundo Pieres: The Moment He Enjoyed the Most in His Career

In a recent interview with LA NACION, renowned polo player Facundo Pieres shared the most memorable and significant moments in his career. Throughout his professional life, Facundo has experienced many highs and lows in the world of polo. However, some moments stand out more than others, leaving an indelible mark on his heart.

The Adrenaline of Polo

Regarding his polo career, Facundo fondly remembered his first Open in 2008 after losing three finals. “In our sport, there’s a lot of adrenaline, and my emotions go up and down. My first Open in 2008, after losing three finals, was incredible. But the one I enjoyed the most was in 2012 when we won with my brother-in-law, Mariano Aguerre, and with Nico, my brother. That was the moment I enjoyed the most in my career.”

Support from His Father

Facundo also highlighted the unwavering support of his father, who has always been in favor of changes and projects in his career. “My father was the first to support me because he saw that we had gone ten years without winning Palermo. I saw that he was suffering, and much of my decision was because of seeing him like that. My father has always been in favor of changes and projects and supported us with intuition, as he always did.”
