After weeks of increasing excitement among sports fans far and wide, Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo makes its highly anticipated return to the limelight tomorrow with its fabulous third edition, live from AlFursan Equestrian Village.
Held in partnership with the Saudi Polo Federation (SPF), Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo is destined to stage an incredible sporting spectacle like always from 17-20 January, providing celebrity audiences and avid fans alike with thrilling moments and non-stop action alongside world-class entertainment.
With four days of incredible matches beginning tomorrow, the greatest players and biggest names in world polo are finalising their preparations in AlUla ahead of the prestigious competition – which proudly stands as the first-ever modern polo tournament in a desert environment.
Kicking off the tournament tomorrow, Team Saudia will face off against Team Sab at 1:15 pm, followed by Team AlUla competing against Team Dadan at 2:50 pm. On Thursday, Team Tayma is set to clash with Team Bentley at 1:15 pm, and later in the day, Team Khaybar will go head-to-head with Team Richard Mille at 2:50 pm.
Overall, eight teams of three comprising professional players, international patrons, and royal dignitaries are vying for the iconic Desert Polo trophy, including polo GOAT Adolfo Cambiaso, Juan Martin Nero, David Stirling, Pablo MacDonough, Poroto Cambiaso, Nina Clarkin, Lia Salvo, and Mia Cambiaso.
With four days of impeccable equestrianism, incredible skill, high-speed action, and world-class competition already in store, the scene is set for another incredible sporting event amidst AlUla’s spectacular scenery.
