Anticipation Builds at The Gant: Aspen’s Ski Season and Beyond

Interview with Bree Di Bernardo from The Gant

As the snow begins to blanket Aspen, The Gant welcomes the arrival of a new ski season with a familiar sense of anticipation. For guests, it means the return of cherished rituals: the first tracks on fresh powder, the hum of the Silver Queen Gondola, and the iconic Gant shuttles weaving through town. Days on the mountain are followed by evenings of camaraderie — from Bonnie’s famous oatmeal pancakes to après champagne, and stories shared in the warmth of The Gant’s hot tubs.

Looking Ahead: Plans for 2026

Beyond the excitement of the slopes, The Gant is preparing for the future. Following the 2026/2027 winter season, the resort will launch a comprehensive Campus Improvement Plan. This initiative is designed to strengthen wildfire resilience, enhance safety, and modernize facilities while preserving the property’s classic architecture. Guests can expect upgrades to pools, hot tubs, and lawn spaces, reinforcing The Gant’s reputation as a best‑in‑class Aspen resort.

Crafted Experiences for Guests

During the Aspen Snowmass season, The Gant continues to enrich the guest experience with its Gant Crafted Experiences. Complimentary yoga classes, hot cocoa in the lobby, poolside music, après gatherings, and line dancing lessons will all be part of the offering. The Winter Market series will also return, showcasing local artisans and makers, and connecting visitors with Aspen’s vibrant creative community.

A Season of Energy and Tradition

For Bree Di Bernardo and the team at The Gant, each ski season is more than a calendar event — it is a celebration of tradition, community, and the unique rhythm of Aspen. With fresh powder, cultural vibrancy, and thoughtful investments in the future, The Gant continues to embody the spirit of mountain living at its finest.
