Arena Polo in Slovakia

We talked with Lazio Kollar about the new edition of Arena Polo organized by Danube Polo Club.

For four seasons now, the Slovak polo community has been gathering at the exceptional Polo Arena. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Slovakia, this tournament offers a unique experience for both horses and players. Let’s delve into the details of this remarkable event and explore what lies ahead.

The Danube Polo Club takes charge of organizing the Arena Polo. Here, players of varying handicaps come together to hone their skills. Youth development is a priority, fostering the next generation of polo enthusiasts.

The organizers have ambitious plans. Alongside the arena, they aim to host full-size tournaments that attract players from around the world.

The goal is to establish Slovakia as a prominent polo destination.

As part of their commitment to growth, the Danube Polo Club will launch a polo academy. Advanced players can refine their techniques and strategies. Polo clinics will provide intensive training, ensuring continuous improvement.

With future expansions and exciting initiatives, Slovak polo is poised for greatness. Whether on grass or snow, the spirit of the game thrives in this remarkable country.

Tell us about the event?

We have been organizing our polo arena for the 4th season. This is an exceptional tournament in Slovakia organized in the amazing x-bionic environment, which is at a high level for horses, players as well as for the polo event.

How is the preparation?

As for preparation, it is organized by the Danube Polo Club, on whose field we train 3 times a week. more players with different handicaps meet here and youth are also brought up here.

Whats the future for the event?

We definitely plan to organize polo arenas in the future, but in addition to the polo arena, we also organize full size tournaments as well as polo academy or polo clinics for advanced players. As soon as the climate allows us, we also organize polo in the snow, in the beautiful high Tatras in Slovakia
