Beyond Polo: A Cultural Journey at the Mohammed VI International Tournament

By Felicitas for PoloHUB

At the Mohammed VI International Tournament, polo is not the only highlight. Today, delegations from various countries embarked on an unforgettable City Tour, immersing themselves in Morocco’s rich history and vibrant culture.

The journey began in the ancient city of Chellah, where visitors marveled at Roman ruins and remnants of past civilizations. The tour then continued to the Hassan Tower, an iconic landmark, alongside the mausoleum of King Mohammed V, a site of deep historical significance.

To conclude the experience, participants explored La Kasbah and the Medina, stepping into the heart of Moroccan tradition. Here, they had the opportunity to engage with local customs, architecture, and the unique atmosphere that defines this fascinating country.

This cultural excursion added a special dimension to the tournament, reinforcing the connection between sport and heritage, and offering players and guests a deeper appreciation of Morocco’s legacy.
