Charlotte Amadea talks about the experience to be the first woman to participate in the Italia Polo Challenge Parade

Italia Polo Challenge is a circuit of polo tournaments that is part of the Chukar company founded by Adriano Motta and Pato Ratagan, aimed at promoting sports and locations. The polo tournaments played in the best and most prestigious Italian locations are currently four. They are held in Roma, Porto Cervo, Borgognazia, which is located in Puglia, and Courmayeur.

The parade, which is generally held a day before the beginning of the tournament, is a wonderful experience for both us players and for the public as well.

This year in Rome we walked the horses from Piazza del Popolo, in the centre of Rome, to Piazza di Spagna, also known as the Spanish Steps, and returned.

For me it was particularly exciting as I was the first and only woman to participate in one of the parades”, said to PoloHUB, the Polo Player Charlotte Amadea.

and also said: “I believe it’s very important to promote the sport of polo in Italy also for women. It should be considered an elegant, fun and mixed sport for all ages and all genders. The event in Piazza di Siena is going very well”.
