On Sunday, January 7, in the prestigious U.S. Polo Assn. Stadium, the final of the Continental Cup was played between Patagones and Forbes Plunkett, the latter surpassed his rival by 10 to 9 and managed to become champion of the 2024 edition. The winning team formed with Brandon Plunkett, Nicolas Escobar, Felipe ‘Pipe’ Vercellino and Lucas Escobar, elected best player.
From December 31 to January 7, the Continental Cup was at stake, one of the four tournaments of the Wellington Polo Tour (Ylvisaker Cup, Iglehart Cup, Outback Invitational), with select matches at the National Polo Center – Wellington, in Florida, United States.
