An idea conceived by TMJ, a 22‑goal tournament — the largest ever in the country — will take place in 2026. Polo in Malaysia has long been linked to the royal families, diplomacy and the business elite, and now it enters a new chapter with this ambitious project.
The Royal Johor Polo Club, one of Southeast Asia’s most historic and exclusive venues, will welcome five teams featuring some of the greatest players in the world, including multiple winners of the Argentine Open. All matches will be broadcast live on Polo Line, with Johor providing the horses for every team.
This initiative, led by TMJ together with Polito Pieres, represents a milestone for Malaysian polo and an opportunity to blend cultures: the prestige of Malaysia’s royalty with the traditions of Argentine polo.

El Royal Johor Polo Club, uno de los clubes más históricos y exclusivos del sudeste asiático, será sede de cinco equipos con algunos de los mejores jugadores del mundo, incluidos varios campeones del Abierto de Palermo.
