This morning, the Rabat Polo Club hosted the official presentation of the sixth edition of the Mohammed VI International Polo Trophy. The ceremony, elegant and full of tradition, was presided over by the General of the Royal Guard of the Kingdom of Morocco, who welcomed the six participating delegations, special guests, and members of the press.
Under a bright Moroccan spring sun, attendees enjoyed an authentic local cocktail featuring traditional sweets and regional flavors that added a cultural touch to the opening of the tournament. The atmosphere blended hospitality, ceremony, and the international spirit that defines this event.
After the presentation, the delegations explored some of Rabat’s most iconic sites, including the Medina and the Kasbah, taking in the history and rhythm of the city before the competition begins.
This afternoon, the inaugural match will take place, with Morocco facing Hungary in the first game of the tournament. It marks the official start of a week filled with high‑level polo, cultural exchange, and the exceptional hospitality that Morocco is known for.

Presentación oficial del Trofeo Internacional Mohammed VI de Polo en Rabat
Hoy por la mañana, el Rabat Polo Club fue escenario de la presentación oficial de la sexta edición del Trofeo Internacional Mohammed VI de Polo. La ceremonia, impecable y cargada de tradición, estuvo presidida por el General de la Guardia Real del Reino de Marruecos, quien dio la bienvenida a las seis delegaciones participantes, invitados especiales y prensa internacional.
Bajo un sol radiante de primavera, los asistentes disfrutaron de un cóctel típicamente marroquí, con dulces tradicionales y sabores locales que aportaron un marco cultural único al inicio del torneo. El ambiente combinó hospitalidad, ceremonia y el espíritu internacional que caracteriza a este evento.
Tras la presentación, las delegaciones recorrieron algunos de los lugares más emblemáticos de Rabat, como la Medina y la Kasbah, sumergiéndose en la historia y el ritmo de la ciudad antes del comienzo deportivo.
Por la tarde se disputará el partido inaugural, que enfrentará al equipo de Marruecos contra la formación de Hungría, marcando el inicio oficial de una semana de polo, intercambio cultural y la extraordinaria hospitalidad que ofrece Marruecos.
