The Royal Commission for AlUla signed a strategic partnership with Argentinian polo team La Dolfina to boost the municipality’s status as a premier destination for equestrian sports, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The agreement, which was signed on the sidelines of the Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo Championship, aims to lay the technical groundwork crucial for the annual tournament’s success and pave the way for new equestrian events in the future.
Under the partnership, the two sides will also launch a polo academy in AlUla, alongside tailored training programs for both residents and visitors. These programs will benefit from the expertise of top international coaches and players, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
La Dolfina will also provide horses to participate in polo tournaments in AlUla.
