Uno de esos sitios dentro de la Costa Azul francesa es Saint Tropez, que recibió a polistas de diferentes partes del mundo. Ellos protagonizaron el tradicional “parade”, un desfile que se celebra año tras año por las calles del puerto de la ciudad. El evento se llevó a cabo por la calle Quai de L’Épi y participaron más de 30 jugadores y caballos del Polo Club Saint Tropez, en lo que es una temporada récord por presencia para la disciplina.
Una vez dentro de la “Mairie”, Julio Zavaleta, el Polo Manager del Club, habló del evento que deleitó a los presentes: “Desde el Polo Club Saint Tropez queremos agradecer a la alcaldía de la ciudad por ayudarnos a seguir trabajando en el crecimiento del Polo en la Región. También agradecer a todos los jugadores que están participando de esta temporada que para el club es un récord de inscriptos y con deportistas de muchas partes del mundo que eligen a St Tropez como destino para sus temporadas”, dijo.

The French Côte d’Azur attracts the attention of locals and strangers. Not only for its striking beaches and the color of its waters, but also for the scenic impact of its cities, which are visited every European summer by thousands of tourists from all over the world.
One of those places on the French Côte d’Azur is Saint Tropez, which received polo players from different parts of the world. They starred in the traditional “parade”, a parade that is held year after year through the streets of the city’s port. The event took place on Quai de L’Épi street and more than 30 players and horses from the Polo Club Saint Tropez participated, in what is a record season for presence for the discipline.
The players each marched with a flag of their respective country and strolled through the most famous and renowned restaurants on the Côte d’Azur until they reached “La Mairie” (municipality). There, the athletes together with the club authorities were received by the municipal managers.
Once inside the “Mairie”, Julio Zavaleta, the Club’s Polo Manager, spoke about the event that delighted those present: “From the Polo Club Saint Tropez we want to thank the city’s mayor’s office for helping us to continue working on the growth of the Pole in the Region. Also thank all the players who are participating in this season, which for the club is a record number of registrations and with athletes from many parts of the world who choose St Tropez as a destination for their seasons”, he said.
