The island of Sylt, a gem of the German summer, once again became the stage for top-level polo with the 2025 edition of the Berenberg German Polo Masters, held from July 30 to August 3 at the prestigious Polo Club Sylt. In a setting that blended elite sport, coastal landscapes, and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, six international teams competed over five days for the coveted trophy.
Among the participants, Standing Rock stood out for its solid playing style, refined aesthetic, and commitment to the values of the sport. Founded by Philipp Müller, the team embodies a philosophy that merges respect for nature, excellence in horse training, and a cultural vision that goes beyond the field. While the title went to Lucid Motors—who edged out Zuckerhut & Matterhorn in a thrilling 7–6 final—Standing Rock left a lasting impression, reinforcing its presence on the European circuit and affirming its growth as a purposeful and competitive team.
The tournament also celebrated outstanding individual and team contributions:
