AlUla welcomes you with its impressive landscapes and diverse scenery that never ceases to amaze, year after year. As the PoloHUB team arrived in AlUla to cover the Richard Mille Desert Polo 2025, we were constantly in awe of the landscapes and the transformations visible from one year to the next.
As in previous years, the entire delegation was warmly received by the AlUla organization. From the airport, we went directly to our respective hotels to check in, and shortly thereafter, we headed out to cover the presentation of the teams that will compete in this new edition of the Desert Polo.
After the presentation, the delegation moved on to the traditional Old Town. This once-prosperous settlement from the 12th century was located along ancient incense trade routes and was also a key stop on the pilgrimage route from Damascus to Mecca. The Old Town, with its 14 gates, was overlooked by a determined 45-meter-high fort, a defensive lookout dating back to the 10th century. At this site, we enjoyed local dishes at the “7 ribs” restaurant.
After a full day, we returned to the hotel to prepare for the first matches of the Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo. Tomorrow, we will see Adolfo Cambiaso and his family back on the field. Once the matches are over, we will attend a new concert by the prestigious pianist Ludovico.
Comenzó la experiencia AlUla
AlUla te recibe con sus paisajes imponentes y una variedad de ellos que, a pesar de los años, no dejan de sorprenderte. Y así fue como en la llegada del equipo de PoloHUB a AlUla para realizar la cobertura del Richard Mille Desert Polo 2025, los paisajes no paraban de alucinarnos y la transformación se puede vislumbrar de un año al otro.
Como años anteriores, toda la comitiva fue muy bien recibida por la organización de AlUla. Desde el aeropuerto fuimos directo a nuestro hotel correspondiente a realizar el check in y, unos minutos más tarde, salimos a realizar la cobertura de la presentación de los equipos que van a disputar esta nueva edición del Desert Polo.
Ya finalizada la presentación, la delegación partió hacia el ya tradicional Old Town. Este asentamiento que alguna vez fue próspero del siglo XII se encontraba en antiguas rutas de comercio de incienso y también fue un asentamiento clave en el camino de peregrinación de Damasco a La Meca. El casco antiguo y sus 14 puertas estaban pasadas por alto por un decidido fuerte de 45 metros de altura, un mirador defensivo que se remonta al siglo X. En aquel sitio pudimos degustar platos típicos de la zona en el restaurante “7 ribs”.
Una vez finalizada la jornada, regresamos al hotel para prepararnos para los primeros partidos del Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo. Mañana podremos ver en cancha nuevamente a Adolfo Cambiaso y a toda la familia. Mientras que una vez finalizados los encuentros, asistiremos a un nuevo recital del prestigioso pianista Ludovico.

تستقبلك العلا بمناظرها الطبيعية الرائعة والمتنوعة التي لا تزال تدهشك عامًا بعد عام. وهكذا، عندما وصل فريق PoloHUB إلى العلا لتغطية Richard Mille Desert Polo 2025، لم تتوقف المناظر الطبيعية عن إبهارنا، ويمكن رؤية التحولات من عام إلى آخر.
كما في السنوات السابقة، تم استقبال جميع أعضاء الوفد بشكل حار من قبل منظمة العلا. من المطار، توجهنا مباشرة إلى فنادقنا لإجراء إجراءات تسجيل الوصول، وبعد بضع دقائق، انطلقنا لتغطية عرض الفرق التي ستتنافس في هذه النسخة الجديدة من Desert Polo.
بعد العرض، توجه الوفد إلى المدينة القديمة التقليدية. كانت هذه المستوطنة التي ازدهرت في القرن الثاني عشر تقع على طرق التجارة القديمة للبخور وكانت أيضًا نقطة توقف رئيسية في طريق الحج من دمشق إلى مكة. المدينة القديمة وأبوابها الأربعة عشر كانت تطل عليها قلعة مصممة بارتفاع 45 مترًا، وهي نقطة مراقبة دفاعية تعود إلى القرن العاشر. في هذا الموقع، استمتعنا بأطباق محلية في مطعم “7 ribs”.
بعد يوم حافل، عدنا إلى الفندق للتحضير لأول مباريات Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo. غدًا، سنشاهد عودة أدولفو كامبياسو وعائلته إلى الملعب. وبمجرد انتهاء المباريات، سنحضر حفلاً جديدًا للبيانيست المرموق لودوفيكو.
